The Heartland Brass Quintet is a new ensemble formed by Roger Menning with members and associates of the Evanston Symphony Orchestra (ESO). Members include Dr. Maxwell Briggs (director and tubist), Matthew Bain (principal trumpet), Annie Grapentine (trumpeter), Paul Seeley (principal horn), and Roger Menning (trombone). This outstanding quintet performs brass music from all periods of music history, with special emphasis on pieces from the 20th century.
