Park Plaza Car Show

This past Sunday, July 27th, Park Plaza hosted a fantastic vintage/classic car show and live discussion presented by Park Plaza board member Nathan Bloch. The cars featured ranged from 1930s models to 1980s models. Residents, families, and friends braved the humidity and heat to see these amazing vehicles.

Spectators learned about the different vehicles featured, including a 1955 MG Magnette from the UK. With its steering on the right-hand side, residents, family, and friends could imagine it driving down London roads in the 1950s.

The 1950s Buick Roadmaster Convertible was a sight from the past for many residents, bringing back many happy memories. This classic old American car was seen on many roads back in the day, and at Park Plaza just this past Sunday.

Both the 1976 Excalibur Convertible and the 1970s Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible were also blasts from the past, and evoked tales and stories from many about the days when they would be on American streets.

The most current car featured in our car show was a Honda Del Sol from the 1980s. This car was so fascinating to see, and started to look like some of the cars you see on roads today.
