Park Plaza is designed with Jewish seniors in mind. Park Plaza makes it easy for seniors to live an active Jewish life and connect with a vibrant, cultural community. We boast a beautiful, expanded on-site synagogue with daily services to honor our residents religious customs and traditions.
In addition to high holiday services and weekly Shabbat and Havdalah celebrations, there is a full-time rabbi on site for personal prayer, services, and pastoral counsel.
Holidays are a special time at Park Plaza, with music, decorations, dancing, and traditional foods. Residents’ families are welcome to join us!
Whatever your level of Jewish observance, you will feel comfortable at Park Plaza.
And, because our community includes a cherished group of Holocaust survivors, we honor these heroic individuals every day and each spring. We hold Holocaust Remembrance programs and events in partnership with the Illinois and U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museums.
