Right at Home is the exclusive provider of shared care services to residents at Park Plaza, a Jewish Senior Living Community, in Chicago. Shared Care aide service is currently available from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM daily, but assistance for two or more consecutive hours is available through Right at Home 24 hours per day. A team of five nurses aides cover resident needs with as many as three on site simultaneously.
Shared Care is a la carte services offered by the Right at Home team at Park Plaza to allow residents to receive care in increments of as little as 15 minutes or less at a time. These services are customized to the unique needs of the resident. Longer consecutive hour shifts are also available with coordination through the Care Management department at Right at Home.
Our dining offerings are not what you’d expect at a retirement community. Park Plaza is proud to offer freshly prepared, hotel-quality, culinary delights from the top Kosher caterer in Chicago. Our chefs insist on only the finest ingredients. Residents can enjoy daily meals, seven days a week. Specialty meals are also prepared onsite for all celebratory Jewish and U.S. holidays.
Park Plaza’s culinary staff aims to please all palates and preferences. They serve crisp and colorful salads, fresh vegetables, and premium meats, including: prime rib, veal, lamb chops, steaks, brisket, and salmon.
Do you have special dietary needs? Park Plaza happily accommodates many special dietary concerns.
Park Plaza is pleased to offer free housekeeping services on a weekly basis. In addition, there are modern laundry rooms with brand new washers and large capacity dryers conveniently located near all residences.
Park Plaza will handle normal repairs and maintenance for the rental units.
For a fee, Park Plaza offers an on-site salon for men and women. There is no need to travel off-site for hair and nail services. Our stylists are trained to work with seniors, and understand the unique needs they may have. Our salon is open four days a week.
We provide a safe and secure environment for all Park Plaza residents. Our security desk is monitored 24/7/365, and our staff is here to act as real time responders in the event of an emergency.
As a Resident, you have the added benefit of a Wellness Center Liaison provided through Crystal Home Health Care. Our goal is to offer continuing care to patients in their apartments, to minimize effects of illness and accidents and to reduce re-hospitalizations. We value you as an individual and are dedicated to enhancing health, wellness and lifestyle through multiple programs and services. We offer educational healthcare events, blood pressure checks and exercise programs.
Park Plaza has partnered with FOX Rehabilitation to offer our residents a variety of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. We have an outpatient therapy clinic as well, located on the ground floor of Park Plaza. Professional, licensed therapists are on premises to offer expert, personalized, ONE on ONE physical, occupational, and speech therapy to both residents of Park Plaza and to community members at large.
Park Plaza offers complimentary chauffeured transportation for medical visits, shopping and activities within a three-mile radius, five days a week. The drivers are our own staff, so there is no need to reserve far in advance. Residents simply sign-up on-site.
